AUTHOR Q&A
Blogespresso: If your novel were to come true, would your decisions match those of Sandy, or would you make a different choice?
Nish: Perhaps, I wouldn’t have fallen for the trap and would have decided my response differently, because Sandy is probably far more naïve than I am. That said, it’s hard to say! That’s because I, as an author, had control over Sandy’s circumstances and the reality of the situation she was unraveling, as also the outcomes of her decisions. We do not have a similar control over our own reality, in terms of matters of life and death as well as decision-related outcomes that tend to depend on the situations, preferences, whims and psyches of countless other people. The only aspect where we do have control lies is…”

“Journalism, fiction, poetry, singing, songwriting, art and video-making merge at different levels to give me the identity of a storyteller. Telling stories through these mediums is how I connect with the external world. I enjoy birthing new characters and creating alternate realities involving different permutations and combinations of situations whose outcomes I can control as a creator! In that respect, being a storyteller is akin to the magic of nature.”

What a thriller! Victims For Sale is the ultimate dope.
The author is absolutely brilliant. This book has been written so intricately that once you start reading it, you’ll feel the air of mystery and something sinister going on around you. The characters were so amusing with their flaws and the touch of realism that you could so nicely connect with them.
The plot, oh sweet mother of all that is good and pure! With unfathomable twists and mind numbingly genius mysteries, the author’s narration will leave you… READ MORE.

Nish Amarnath’s new book, based on real incidents, gives you the chills, showing how crime can unfold in both lethal and cosy set-ups.
What do people with special needs, electric violet teddy bears, a sex racket and a children’s home have in common? Nothing reassuring, that’s for sure, and since the process of uncovering it nearly cost the protagonist of Victims For Sale (HarperCollins) her life, we’re not going to give you any spoilers.
